NEFF Worm Gear Screw Jacks

This program includes 11 manufactured sizes with lifting power from 0,5 up to 500 kN. Our worm gear screw jacks are available in different types. Type R, N and V with ration (H) respectively ratio (L).

Type R:
means with a rotating screw.
Type N:
means an axial movement of the spindle via an external anti-rotation guide.
Type V:
Type V means an axial movement of the spindle via an anti-rotation guide (e.g. by feather key groove or square tube).
Ratio H (hohe Verfahrgeschwindigkeit)
Worm gear screw jacks with trapezoidal screws achieve a stroke of 1 mm per turn of the worm shaft. That means a linear speed of 1500 mm/min at 1500 1/min. Worm gear screw jacks with ball screws achieve – depending on size and pitch – a stroke of 6000 mm/min.
Ratio L (niedrige Verfahrgeschwindigkeit)
Worm gear screw jacks with trapezoidal screws achieve a stroke of 0,25 mm per turn of the worm shaft. That means a linear speed of 375 mm/min at 1500 1/min.

Please note that higher speeds of travel can be achieved with larger screw leads or multiple start screws. The worm gear screw jack´s maximum input speed of 3000 rpm must not be exceeded. The higher efficiency of the ball screw drive also permits a longer duty cycle.
